The Center for Environmental Health tested purses from 100 of the nation's top retailers and found what it said were disturbingly high levels of lead. The CEH reached the first ever settlement with stores to legally limit lead in bags they sell. Now the group hopes to reach a similar deal with dozens of other major stores and suppliers.
